Maryland’s Public Information Act (PIA), Section 4-101 et seq. of the General Provisions Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland, grants people the right of access to public records while protecting legitimate governmental interests and the privacy rights of individual citizens.

Subject to the requirements of Section 22.1000 of the County Code, reports from various departments, boards, and commissions are annually made available electronically to the County Council detailing their activities performed in that year.
