Howard County Council Seeks Public Applicants for SMART Data Center Task Force
ELLICOTT CITY, MD – The Howard County Council is seeking members of the public to serve on the SMART (Strategic Moratorium for Assessing Responsible Technology) Data Center Task Force.
Council Districts 2, 3, and 5 invite interested residents to apply for consideration to serve on the SMART Data Center Task Force, which has been established to examine issues related to data center development and provide recommendations that support the thoughtful planning and siting of data centers within Howard County.
Community members with an interest in technology, planning, environmental issues, infrastructure, economic development, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
Qualified applications will be accepted and considered by district staff.
