Council Seeking Candidates for Board and Task Force Vacancies

The Howard County Council is seeking interested community members to serve in the following vacancies:

• Inspector General Advisory Board — District 1: Council District 1 is requesting applications to fill a vacancy on the Inspector General Advisory Board. Based on the current vacancy and the requirements in the County Code, applicants for this open position must be registered as Unaffiliated, as their political party affiliation in order to maintain the required membership. To apply for appointment consideration, please complete and submit the online application using the link below. Applications will be reviewed and considered by Council District 1 staff for members on the Advisory Board.
• SMART Data Center Task Force — Districts 2, 3, and 5: Residents of Districts 2, 3, and 5 are encouraged to apply and help review data center-related issues and recommend approaches that support responsible technology development in Howard County.
